John is a professional event host and highly skilled Wedding DJ. He is a people person with a particular modern style and the ability to create the perfect vibe for your event. He excels at beatmatching and quick-mixing for climactic periods while knowing when to manage the energy level in the room, giving his audience the perfect flow and vibe as the evening progresses.
In addition to John William's charismatic hosting style and music mastery, we also provide a range of essential features for your event. These include a high-quality DSLR PhotoPod, PhoneOgram audio guestbook, videography and photography options, wireless uplighting, and dancefloor effects such as haze & bubbles. We can even provide a wireless battery-powered DJ and PA solution for outdoor settings such as wedding ceremonies or garden games.

South West Wedding Awards
We made it to the finals!
It's been such an amazing year full of weddings, I feel like I get all the best couples! Thank you so much for your votes towards the prestigious South West Wedding Awards, your kind words mean the world to me, and although we didn't win this time, it was really amazing to reach the finals and be up there with the 6 best of the best wedding entertainers in the recorded music category. Out of the hundreds of other professional wedding DJs in the South West, this was an achievement I am really proud of!

Beating the winter blues: A busy time for Wedding and Event DJs.
Aren't January and February supposed to be our quiet months? Not ForCelebrations! We've already squeezed out a few weddings and birthdays and expereinced our busiest winter yet. We've also been working on projects behind the scenes, such as new exciting collaborations, and a new-look range of themed console and PA/lighting facades - to be seen at a wedding fair near you!

What a weekend!
We met hundreds of amazing couples this weekend at the Big South West Wedding Fair, thank you so much for visiting our showcase and making us feel very loved!
John took requests and drew in the crowds with our amazing smokey bubbles, whilst Lilian had them dancing, hoolahooping and laughing all day!
Over the next couple of days we'll be working our way through all the many many enquiries from the show and replying personally to each of the lovely couples who are keen for us to help with their music, after-dinner LOLs and of course capturing all those special memories.

Cornish Seaside Wedding at Carlyon Golf Club
Vicky and James had an absolutely vibing party at the Golf Club, with the best live music from the Steve Panser Band, and support from John William, including our dancefloor lighting and DSLR PhotoPod, which was very well utilised! See the highlight video below.

The Bedford in Tavistock is one of my favourite hotels and offers a lovely function room and other smaller rooms for intimate weddings and parties, and the food and service is amazing!
This weekend we had the pleasure of surprising Alan with his 60th Birthday party, it was a fabulous night with lots of oldies dynamically mixed for a full dancefloor all evening! This venue is perfect for a tasteful, minimal setup, and particularly with an older audience it was as important as ever to have good control over my lighting so the guests were not dazzled, and the scene could be easily set for each part of the evening.

John totally made our wedding. It was an older crowd so we stuck to 80’s & 90’s and the dance floor wasn’t empty from the moment he started. He gaged what we needed and would pop in a slow dance or a massive crowd pleaser as and when and it worked perfectly. John produced an amazing video of our wedding - we were blown away with its fun and colourful vibe. He used a drone and GoPro along with normal cameras to really make it fast-paced with a variety of shot and angles. He was great at not being 'in the way' of people/proceedings, but also made sure he got the specific shots we asked for by helping to direct us when needed. The music he chose for the video was spot on too.. we were so pleased when we got it back and watched it. It's amazing what you miss on the day, so such a special thing to be able to watch it all again. Couldn't recommend him enough!

We hired For Celebrations for our wedding last weekend. Communication before the event was excellent and we felt that John got a good idea of what we wanted on the evening. As we had a band as well John asked for their contact details and it really felt like the two were working in harmony. The music selection was just what we wanted and it was easy to ask for requests.
The Photo Booth option was amazing. The photos truly captured the night but the short videos which John put together are some of our best things from the wedding day.
